What about the war?

We at the Ad-Visor and Chronicle have tried dilligently to keep you informed about who from this small, tight-knit community is serving in harm's way with the military in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan not only to honor their service but to help rally support for them while they adjust to being half away around the world from Marshall. How are we doing so far? Is it too much informaton? Not enough information? Is there an angle we've missed? What do you think about the troop build-up and this weekend's protest in Washington D.C.? Of course, we always prefer Letters to Editor for publication but here, you can give us the rest of your opinion if you aren't comfortable identifying yourself.

Welcome to the Chronicle & Ad-Visor Feedback Forum

Thank you for visiting us online where we hope you will enjoy the convenience of providing feedback to the editors and staff of the Marshall Chronicle and Community AdVisor, your team of newspapers dedicated to covering news of Marshall and eastern Calhoun County. Why a blog page rather than a fully functioning website? We are a small company, located at 514 South Kalamazoo Avenue in Marshall. Our staffs work daily to gather stories and compose your two, weekly publications. However, because our parent company, J-Ad Corporation, does not employ a web designer, little time is left over for your local writers and photographers to maintain a valuable website. However, your opinions are important to us so that we may serve you better. That's why we're 'test driving' this concept as a means for helping you connect with us.
Feel free to leave your comments about our coverage, past and future, our photography, page design, subscription or delivery concerns, advertisting inquiries, questions and general opinions.
Of course, we love to hear your story ideas, too! Do you have a grandma turning 100? Have you heard a hot news tip? Is someone you know planning to run for office or being deployed overseas? Is your child an Eagle Scout or achieving some other, exceptional honor? Does your club or organization have a big named speaker or an interesting topic scheduled? Leave your comments here or contact us at
chronicle@jasnetworks.net. Or, call us at 781-5444. We're waiting to hear from you.
