State of the art music recording studio offered to MPS

The same anonymous donor to MPS of the Seiler Grand Piano and the band instruments in recent years now has offered to gift the school district with a music recording studio if voters pass the $35.3 million bond issue for facility upgrades Aug. 5. See this top story in the June 28 Chronicle by John Hendler.

Wonderful. Now we can record our singers.

Oh, wait, we cancelled those groups, cut the position to half time and thereby forced out an award winning teacher.

Nevermind, carry on.

How could a NEW music studio be utilized if the current administration is combining music classes now ( 2 levels in one period) and students don't have the oportunity to take AP classes due to ...lack of common sense scheduling by the administration ??? Wake up people - there is no reason to RUSH THE VOTE on what upgrades the High School REALLY needs - possibly a new superintendent will have a better vision-

what is the sense of having NEW space when there is no one to teach or no opportunity for students to participate due to schedule problems that we are seeing now ....
